MUNICIPAL COURT FINES
If you have a traffic citation issued to you by a Guin police officer, the case is docketed in the Guin Municipal Court. If you have been charged with an offense listed below and wish to plead guilty, you may pay the fine and court costs by mailing your payment to the Guin Municipal Court or appearing in person at the Municipal Court office.
To settle your case you must sign your name on the back of your copy of the ticket in the section entitled "Plea of Guilty/Waiver of Rights." You can mail your copy of the ticket with the full payment to the court address so that it is received before the court appearance date on your citation. If you wish to plead not guilty to the charge, you should contact the court prior to the court appearance date on your citation for instructions.

If you have been charged with an offense that is not listed above, you must appear in court on the date indicated on the citation. If you are convicted or plead guilty you must be prepared to pay the full amount of the fine and court costs imposed by the court on this date.
You may call the court in advance to find out the approximate amount of the fine and cost that may be imposed on your case. If you fail to appear in court or settle your case before the court date, your driver's license will be suspended and a warrant will be issued for your arrest.
This will add additional fines and court costs to your case.
Payments may be made by cashiers check, or money order. No personal checks accepted.
To have driver's license reinstated you must have all fines paid and then contact the Alabama Dept. of Public Safety.
