Guin Industrial Development Board
The Guin IDB has a separate Web site that combines numerous of photographs and documents regarding lands and buildings that are available or rent, sale, or lease.
The Industrial Development Board's goal is to support the City of Guin's economic development program that will result in the retention and recruitment of diversified industries and commercial development. The City of Guin, an ACE community, is strategically located in northwest Alabama along the new Interstate I-22 (formerly Corridor X) that connects Memphis, Tennessee and Birmingham, Alabama. The City of Guin and the Industrial Development Board are eager to work for you! The City owns property along Interstate I-22 that can be developed for your industrial or commercial development venture.

MIXED USE OPPORTUNITY
The Guin Manufacturing site in the heart of the downtown is very well positioned for re-development as a mixed-use project to include retail, commercial, professional offices and downtown housing. This mix of uses can add greatly to the vitality of downtown and has been proven successful in many cities and is expected to have the same results for Guin. This site had already been assessed and is clear for redevelopment.
Our brownsfield site is well positioned on eight and one half acres of land that is between two city streets and a federal four-lane US highway. It has 130,000 square feet of floor space and will make a great mixed use project.

The City of Guin has a 220 acre Commercial Park located off I-22 beside the Industrial Park that is named The Crossings at 44.This development is scheduled to have fast food as well as family restaurants along with convenience/gas stations. The city is pleased to announce that the Sethi
Family of Canton , Mississippi will be opening an 82 room Holiday Inn Express and Suites and will provide management through Certified Hospitality Hotel, a subsidiary of Jackie’s International. The hotel will anchor our 40 plus acre commercial development. Jackie’s International currently owns or operates 16 hotels and 70 plus restaurants throughout the south. Jackie’s International was named one of the Top 100 Companies in Mississippi two years in a row.
I-22 Industrial Park
The City of Guin has a 350 acre Industrial Park. It is located at Exit 26 off I-22, America ’s newest Interstate connecting Birmingham , Alabama and Memphis , Tennessee in Marion County . The city will develop site for retail and industry.
